It finally happened. Nintendo dropped a killer Direct today, and the “one more thing” moment was given to Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. We got our very first gameplay trailer for the title, and of course, people were quick to dive in to see what details could be gleaned.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is very much a Switch title, but it’s a lovely looking one at that. While Nintendo hasn’t shared tech specs on the title (and likely won’t), we can use this gameplay reveal to figure out some crude states on framerate, resolution and more. Of course, all of this could change by the game’s launch, but the video above dives into some tech details that should be in the ballpark of what you can expect.

The galaxy’s greatest bounty hunter Samus Aran will embark on her latest mission in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, a new entry in the Metroid Prime series, is coming to Nintendo Switch in 2025. Stay tuned for more details as we inch closer to next year.

Im still not convinced about the graphics, but i guess this is the most switch can do. Thats why i wanted to be switch 2 exclusive, but snyway ill check this analysis and of course will buy the game.

It's kinda funny that they're getting knocked for doing the best they can with the hardware they're limited to. I'll enjoy the game regardless, but I hope the Switch 2 can improve the graphics in the same way the Resident Evil games and FFVII Remake got significant upgrades going from PS4 --> PS4.
