Kirby and Waddle Dee hand-holding plushies released in Japan

Another day, another new piece of Kirby merch. Nintendo and HAL love cranking out various Kirby goodies, especially when it comes to Japanese audiences. Case in point, our friends in Japan are about to get yet another exclusive item that’s possibly one of the cutest creations yet.

FuRyu, a longtime collaborator on Kirby merch, has just announced a new Kirby and Waddle Dee plush duo. As you can see in the image above, the big draw for these tiny plushies is the fact that if you get them close enough, you can make it look like they’re holding hands. These plushies are available in arcade machines in Japan now.

There are actually four different plush designs available (two Kirby, two Waddle Dee), and not every option will hold hands with the others. You can see the design for all four of the plushies in the image above.
