All Nintendo fans know that the Big N loves their bundles. When Nintendo has a long-tail seller, they’ll cram that sucker into a bundle with hardware and keep cranking that package out. We’ve seen it countless times with Switch, and rumor has it we’ll be seeing it again real soon.

Industry insider Billbil_kun, who has quite the stellar track record, is saying that Nintendo will be putting out a Super Mario Bros. Wonder Switch OLED bundle this year. In particular, they believe the bundle will arrive late September or early October.

As for what’s in the bundle, you can expect a white Switch OLED, a download code for Super Mario Bros. Wonder and a 3-month Switch Online subscription. Certainly seems like a smart bundle to have around the holiday season.

Apparently this bundle is a lock for Europe, but not so much for North America. Billbil_kun said a Switch bundle will indeed be available this side of the pond, but the included game is unclear at this time.

If/when Nintendo confirms any of this information, we’ll be sure to share the announcement with you.

UPDATE: Billbil_kun has come forward with even more Switch bundle rumors for Europe (h/t VGC), stating the following:

  • 5 new Switch bundles are on the way
  • at least 3 of these bundles will launch in September
  • 2 of these bundles include the Switch Lite
  • 1 bundle is a regular Switch with Nintendo Switch Sports and a 12-month Switch Online subscription
  • these bundles will be announced September 12th or 13th, and will launch on the 19th
  • there are two Switch OLED bundles, one being the above-mentioned Super Mario Bros. Wonder bundle, and the contents of the other unknown at this time

That would make it less likely that the Switch 2 will launch bundled with a Mario (mainline) game. But like RMC mentioned some time ago I also still believe a new Mario Kart game could be perfect to launch the next Switch with.
