Team GO Rocket and Giovanni return in Pokémon GO's "Galarian Expedition: Taken Over" event

Pokémon GO fans, gear up for Galarian Expedition: Taken Over, a new event that kicks off Tuesday, October 8, at 12:00 a.m. and runs to Friday, October 11, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Event Bonuses during this event are as follows:

• Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons.
• You can use a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration.

Part of the Seasonal Special Research story will be unlocked at the beginning of this event. Progress through it to receive a Super Rocket Radar and chase down Giovanni! You can claim this Special Research until the end of Pokémon GO: Max Out on December 3, 2024, at 9:59 a.m. local time.
