Did you know that today marks the opening of the Nintendo Museum in Uji, Japan? Visitors will be able to discover the history of the entertainment that Nintendo has been offering through their various products, from Hanafuda (Flower Cards) to Nintendo Switch, and even have some hands-on experience with some of them!

Of course, such an exciting visit wouldn’t really be complete if you didn’t meet a new Pikmin to show for it! This is why Niantic and Nintendo have added a Special Spot inside the Nintendo Museum. Swiping down on this Special Spot will grant you not just one, but two Gold Seedlings! One will grow into either a Red, Blue, or Yellow Present Sticker (Gold) Decor Pikmin, and the other into a Red Flower Card Decor Pikmin with the name “Nintendo” written in Japanese characters on it. Be sure to grab them if you have a chance to visit!

Visitors are required to reserve in advance and purchase a ticket to enter the Nintendo Museum. You may only receive the Gold Seedlings from the Nintendo Museum Special Spot once every 30 days.
