Actor Jacob Batalon checks out Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Stellar Crown

The gang at Geek & Sundry have made a name for themselves by reveling in everything and anything “geeks” are into. Back when I was a kid, playing card games and video games was definitely “geek” territory, but today doing that kind of stuff is not only accepted, it’s also praised! It’s a great time to be a gamer in general, and that includes those who play the Pokémon TCG, such as actor Jacob Batalon!

Geek & Sundry has just started a video series they’re calling the Pokémon Trading Card Game: Scarlet & Violet - Stellar Crown Showdown! Things heat up in this week’s episode as Jacob Batalon bursts into the Stellar Crown Showdown with Cinderace ex against host Alison Mattingly’s Galvantula ex!

In Scarlet & Violet—Stellar Crown, players are able to immerse themselves in the Terastal phenomenon, first seen in the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, with the introduction of Stellar Tera Pokémon ex to the Pokémon TCG. Each Stellar Tera Pokémon ex has a special stellar attack with names inspired by various gemstones, which cost three different types of Energy to use. In addition, the expansion also features unique illustrations highlighting the brilliant crystalline qualities of the Stellar Tera Pokémon ex.
