Japan Game Awards 2024 winners revealed, Zelda: TotK gets top honors (UPDATE)
Nintendo wins big again
CESA has officially revealed the winners for the Japan Game Awards 2024, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has taken home the Grand Award, which is the top accolade a game can get.
That’s not the only thing Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom won, nor is it the only Switch game that took home wins. You can see the full list of categories and winners below.
- Grand Award: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
- Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry Award: PlayStation
- Breakthrough Award: The Exit 8
- Movement Award: Suika Game
- Best Sales Award: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
- Special Award: Street Fighter 6
- Game Designers Award honorable mentions: COCOON and No Case Should Remain Unsolved
