People Are Now Making Whipped Strawberry Milk—and It’s Easier Than Whipped Coffee

Trend alert!

The sprawling network of Internet foodies seems to jump from one trend to another on an hourly basis these days. At 9 a.m. it’s Dalgona coffee (aka whipped coffee: lightly sweetened coffee fluff that’s spooned over milk) and by 3 p.m. whipped strawberry milk has taken over news feeds.

Inspired by Dalgona coffee and all its variations, whipped strawberry milk is basically a creamy cloud of strawberry goodness that’s dolloped over milk. It’s a non-caffeinated, kid-friendly version of whipped coffee that children love and adults secretly crave.

How to Make Whipped Strawberry Milk

  • 1 tablespoon strawberry Nesquik
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • Glass of your favorite milk

Combine the strawberry Nesquik and heavy cream in a small bowl. Whisk (and whisk!) until the mixture has thickened and become light and fluffy (like whipped cream). Dollop over a glass of your favorite milk.

What’s Not To Love

Whipped strawberry milk tastes like strawberry shortcake in a glass. It’s creamy, light and refreshing and looks adorably delicious, too, with its cloud of pink fluff. It can be served over cold or warm milk, stirred in or left floating on top. I’ve tried it over hot chocolate, too, and loved the chocolate-covered strawberry mashup. The possibilities are endless!
